Coming together as Christians is a beginning;Keeping together is progress;Working and growing together is success.Scripture: Acts 2: 43Everyone was amazed by the many miracles and wonders that the apostles worked. 44All the Lord's followers often met together, and they shared everything they had. 45They would sell their property and possessions and give the money to whoever needed it. 46Day after day they met together in the temple. They broke bread [d] together in different homes and shared their food happily and freely, 47while praising God. Everyone liked them, and each day the Lord added to their group others who were being saved.

Prayer for the day: Lord as we gather together today in worship, bible study, fellowship, children's time, youth, and however else we come together may we come together as your children. May we keep together for your kingdom. May we find a way to work through our differences, our conflicts to bring unity in the Body of Christ. But God the truth is, that no matter what we do, sometimes there is not unity, sometimes people leave the church, sometimes we don't handle things well, and people get hurt. Bring your healing touch to your body Lord, especially those churches that are in so much conflict, hurt or loss. May we not just work together but grow together as well.
